In this processing project, I wanted to visualize a keybord. Firstly I started with a simple piano image that can be played via keyboard or mouse. Then I wanted to add some background music and visual effects. Since I'm interested in installations the next level was to add some physical stuff.

Therefore,I decided to attach LED bulbs to the keys of piano. By the help of the LEDs I wanted to create a 3rd dimension affect. I also think visualizing the piano enables people to see the notes which can make people feel more connected to it and since I reveal the notes to people with colors people actually becomes a part of the performance.

For the visual effects my inspiration is Kylie Minogue's The One music video. Right now the project is small sized and works only for 8 notes. For the next step I am thinking of having seperate bulbs for each key and large scale light installations on the screen so that it can be used in live dj performances.
